We need to come to Jesus regularly for rest for our souls to prosper.
Mar 3:14 Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons
Our Lord Jesus formed an intimate relationship with His disciples before he send them for the work of ministry. In some instances people cannot wait to serve the Lord in their local church or to go into the dying world to save lives. However, having an intimate relationship with the Lord is vital for effective service.
Sometimes we are so busy with the many responsibilities of life (spouse, family, ministry, job, sports) that we neglect times of coming to Jesus for rest.
Apart from Him, we really are powerless to deal with the critical problems of life.
Apart from Him, We have activity with no fruitfulness or productivity

Apart from spending quality time with the Lord we will appropriate no significant power in our lives.
No power to save, to heal, to deliver, to provide
Eternal life is knowing Him John 17:3
Appropriating the benefit of eternal life can only be realised by coming to Him regularly – knowing Him and finding rest for your soul.
This is the foundation for a prosperous soul
